Yahoo Fantasy Basketball: Points-based vs. Head to Head

can you guys tell me how head to head is?

i'm playing points based right now...head to head seems better since in pointsd based...if one of your stars get injuried for like a month you're out of the race for the championship...so i just want feedback from the other fantasy players...thanks! 🙂

basically there's 9 categories and whomever wins each category gets a point. SO if you face a weak team u can go 7-2 or if ur facing the #1 team u can go 2-7 (and yes there are ties so u could go 3-6-1). The totals are tallied for the standings. e.g. if you go 7-2, 6-3 in two weeks ur overall record would be 13-5. Needless to say it goes round robin and u do need some luck cuz sometimes ur opponents players will play less games than u in the upcoming week and then you can trounce him in the categories 🙂

can you make daily roster changes or limited to setting a lineup for the week?

so does head to head have to be rotisserre scoring or can it be points based also?

errr what's rotisserie scoring? Roster changes are limited to a per week basis. E.g. if you make a roster change on wed. it's not reflected till the start of next week's matchup. FOr this reason sometimes it's advantageous to bench ur star player if say he only plays once this week and instead start some other guy who isn't as good but plays 4 times this week.
