I remember Yahoo as being one of the first go to sites when I started going to the internet. I used to look up stats of Patrick Ewing, John Starks, etc. Great times spent in the library.
Basically, it was a good search engine that did what it did. For the past couple of years, it's transforming into an entertainment/news/finance/gossip/social media website thats more focused on showing off its edginess more than anything.
For instance, I go to Yahoo.com to look something up. Immediately, I am distracted by the latest Lady Gaga, Kim K and Miley Cyrus news. I am 100% at fault for clicking those links but still, very distracting.
So I guess, I probably will make the slow move towards Google ....
