This is as close to my category as I can get I guess.
Yesterday, I was working on the computer, working in yahoo and going to my email. I had no problems at all. Then last night my wife was going to go on to her yahoo mail and it just wouldn't go. I then tried and it didn't work. I went into my yahoo mail and now it wouldn't work.

Everything else popped right up but Yahoo Mail. Now, My Yahoo home page is very slow to open if it even does open up.

No matter what I do , I can't get Yahoo Mail to open.

I did a scan and it showed no virus or malware. I've cleared the cache. I have tried all the browsers there are. None work with Yahoo Mail.

I have an Asus RT-AC86U router and a Netgear Modem.

I have tried everything I know. What can I do?

This is all on the same computer, right? There's no other computer in the house? What about a phone or a tablet navigating to the Yahoo mail site?

I tried it on my phone and it did not work, but then realized it was on my wifi. I turned off wifi and just went to Verizon and it worked.
It just came back on about 10 minutes ago.
What do you guys use for email?

I just got off the phone with my IPS again and now they tell me that there was an outage that affected certain websites. Nice to know after all the hours I spent wasting my time trying to fix something I wasn't going to fix.

Yup, always fun. I once tried to switch to a new router to find out that I'd picked the one time that my ISP's network infrastructure was screwy, so if I'd left my old router alone during that time I wouldn't have experienced any problem.

What e-mail do other people use - gmail, Microsoft, private hosting, etc.

Also, e-mail software rather than the website. It might have avoided the issue, or not depending on the nature of the networking issue.
