So I just went to gamestop today, after finding out that Best Buys stopped the early sales since it only went on for about 1 hour, and preordered Half Life 2 with that $5 and they reserve your copy system. Well that gamestop I went to today was kind of far (cause I was expecting to go to Best Buys and a Gamestop also happened ot be there). But anyhoo I believe there's a gamestop much closer to me. My question is that can I pick up my copy of HL2 from any Gamestop or does it have to be the exact one I placed that hold on?
 
Probably need to call Gamestop. They might work out something for you.

Can't you just return the reserved copy? Pick up the game closer to home, and then just drop by the other store later this week and cancel your pre-order. If they so no just explain you're going to buy it and immediately return it unopened. I'm sure they'll give you your money back.
 
That's true but that just means more driving around and I found that I have to pick it up where I placed the presale. Oh well, it's not that far. TY
