YAH(ealth)T: Blood in my snot?

I'm getting over the latest cold that's going around , and for the most part, when I blow my nose it's all clear now, but a few times there has been a little blood in it....is this common?

If you've been rubbing your nose a lot you probably just irritated your nose slightly. No biggy.

The nose is a part of the body that is very rich in blood vessels which will burst with even very light trauma. Dry air can cause it, so can many other things. You're fine.

you basically just have a bloody nose. it will clear up once your cold does. nothing to worry about.

Just keep your finger out of your nose and things will be fine

Don't worry. I've found that as one increases their nose picking often one will find blood in the snot.
