How about mini 14's s at 200 yards?

At least both will survive to tell about it!

Kind of a strange comment, coming from a Swiss citizen. I never understood why you were so anti-gun when your country has an assault rifle in almost every household.

Yeeeeeeah, you don't get it. 99% of the guys here HATE the military and most of them don't want a stupid gun in their home. Who needs a gun anyway? If there would be a burglar, NO ONE would use the rifle cuz it gets you in jail and it's not meant for self-defense.

I think you're a Swiss left wing whacko. I'd like to hear from some of the other Swiss on the boards before I would believe what you have to say.

You know how annyoing it is to go every year, for 3 weeks to the military service and just hang around and do nothing? The military in Switzerland is SO bad organized, it's not even funny.

So yeah, ndee is a left wing nut. I wish freedom and patriotism were as alive in the US as they are in Switzerland.

Lol, you believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet? Oh dude, you have NO idea how the military is here in Switzerland.

http://www.gsoa.ch/

There are web pages dedicated how to get OUT of the military, etc. Believe me, only because everyone has a rifle at home, doesn't mean they're a fan of that.

People have always sought to shirk their duty. Your nation expects you to serve in exchange for what it gives you.

The recent rise in anti-gun sentiment is a result of Switzerlands acceptance of the EU (Evil Union) which has fought tooth and nail to get several restrictive gun laws passed in Switzerland. It used to be that much of Switzerland required no license to carry a concealed handgun (like Vermont), now licenses must be applied for, and are seldom granted. They have also severely restricted the sale of handguns and assault weapons. The EU's global war against self defense is foolish and self-destructive. It hasn't worked in England, where self defense is illegal, and crime is high. And they seek to destroy a bastion of freedom, a nation of low crime.

Switzerland will be destroyed by liberals from the inside out.

WTF, didn't you see what was mentioned by the OP about bitching and whining? We have another forum for political debates.

It could be worse. You ever see someone try to fire M855 (or most other heavier and longer bullets) out of an AR outfitted with a barrel with the old twist rate? Hilarity ensues at 100 yards.

That's not how it works. You challenged me, so I get to say what weapon is used, and that weapon is used by both parties. :D

Naw, I cant say that I have.

One time the Army Rangers came to the range and shot 600 yards with iron sights.

I've got to say I was pretty damn amazed. The cool thing was they made it look easy.

The following week the history channel was doing a documentary on magnums, and they interviewed one of the guys I was talking to.
