I bought a police trade glock 19 for $450. It came with a Gould and Goodrich carry package (duty holster and dual mag pouch), which sell new for 150+ for the set. It had some gay hogue grips, and grip extensions because I guess the officer had huge hands but I took them off. Overall I am really happy. That makes 2 G19's now.

You definitely need a new hobby. Collecting crappy guns is crappy.

Maybe your girlfriend is hinting that she wants you to spank her with the hair brush? Has she been naughty lately? Maybe not naughty enough?

I think your new hobby should be spanking your girlfriend with the hair brush, and post pics and videos on the net. That is, if she does not mind.

Maybe she is saying her pubes need brushed and she would find it hot if he brushed them for her.

Try grabbing the glock in the middle of the night, half asleep.

If its ever happened to you, you will be glad the pistol has a manual safety on it.
Half asleep headed towards high stress at 1000MPH.........Aw, Fuuuuuu forgot to release the safety.

EDIT: Good enough for my bro in law in the FBI, good enough for most civies.

EDIT2:referring to the quality in my 1st edit.

Better then not having a safety and having a negligent discharge.

When you wake up from a deep sleep, you do not have your fine motor controls for several seconds. What is it, 20 or 30 seconds,, maybe more after waking up that someone regains fine motor control?

Who has received top notch training, as compared to someone who rarely shots their pistol.

BTW, if is something happened in the middle of the night that warranted grabbing a firearm, I will be plenty awake and alert.

To each his own and we could discuss it until the cows come home and wouldn't change our opinions until we were in that situation.

No you wont.

Several years ago 2 of my kids (12 and 14 years old) and I were on a camping trip. We had our hammocks setup around the camp fire in a triangle pattern. Around 2am a coyote let out a howl, what sounded like maybe 20 feet on the other side of my daughter.

Me - camp fire - daughter ---- sounded like coyote

Half asleep I rolled out of my hammock, grabbed my maglight and 9mm pistol off the ground and moved in-between where I heard the coyote and my daughter. After I got out of the camp site the safety went off. I saw a couple of eyes moving through the woods, but they were gone in a split second.

Thinking about the situation, I am so glad that the pistol had a safety. Grabbing a pistol in pitch-black darkness, half-sleep, in a rush to secure the area, could have been a recipe for disaster. But I knew one thing, the safety was on.

As for the OPs hobby, I want to see some pics of the girlfriend.

this. it has happened to me before. i was dead asleep and heard someone breaking in and had an adrenaline rush like a shot of cocaine straight into my heart. i was fully aware enough to grab a gun, keep my finger off the trigger, and go check it out.

ended up being my fuckin cat knocking over a flower vase. and after I got back upstairs I fell asleep.

Nice. My take on police trade-ins is that 90% of the wear will be holster, with 10% on the internals.

Not disagreeing with you. Unfortunately, the situation dictates the best response, ie.You're awake and sober or you're not. Alone or family in the house. Holstered (in a fobus for example) or not.
What's perfect? Some other home owner killed him the last time he broke in.

Video of the pube brushing is called for.

As far as being aware and able after being awoken, IDK. F-n cell went off at 1:00am last week. Office alarm or parents. Oh, crap. Massive adrenaline shot.........WRONG NUMBER. I would not have wanted to "process" an intruder in the first 20 sec.
