I can't do the 3rd flying test: Circle Airstrip. Problem? Plane can't get high enough to make the first corona. I've tried at least 25 times now, with a keyboard/mouse setup and a gamepad. I've googled it & came up with nothing. Anyone have any idea what's going on / experience the same problem?

At times, I had that problem. The best way to do it is taking it gently and dont try to climb too steeply. It took me ages to get the entire course right and even near the end, I was still having intermittent problems with getting the plane up to the right height.

I'm confident I could do the course right if I could make it up to that first corona in time... I've gone up & circled for more height to get that corona and done it, but of course then I take too much time to complete the course. I'm starting to think something's wrong with my PC or USB driver (both my KB & gamepad are USB). Essentially, if I didn't know better (because other people have no problem with it), I would think they put it too high or they started you off too close to it. I've tried the gentle ascent thing, just can't get the height for that damn corona.

Hold the 'forward key' constantly and pull back as soon as you think you can lift off and just try to get a feel of how the plane handles. Make sure you pull up the landing gear asap. Ive forgotten to do that a few times and flopped.

It is really easy to stall in that pile of junk.
