Here is some truth for you: A woman that has the hots for you does not care where you guys go - she just wants to spend time with you.
Think about it in the reverse. A girl that you like asks you to hang out with her. Are you really going to care about what you do? NO.

There must be SOMETHING that you can do together that's doesnt involve playing on the jungle gym/traveling overseas to see a movie. Does your school host sport events? Pep rallies? At the very least ask her about a movie she wants to see, then go buy the dvd and invite her over to watch it - I'm sure she knows that it's a hassle to go to the movies so she wont consider it weird or anything.

Hey, I just got the greatest idea! If I could get my parents to go dancing for a night or whatever, I'd have the place for myself. Tell me, would a girl find it romantic if a guy'd cook dinner for her and watch a movie with her afterwards? I'm a great cook, so the dinner wouldn't be a problem. If only I could keep my mouth shut when a subtitler makes a mistake

Um... not really what I had in mind... I think you need to keep those raging hormones in check. I recommended a coffee shop so that you don't have to pay for anything expensive (if at all) for the girl and it's a good chance to talk to her to build and increase attraction.... Oh and just so you know, I took a date once to the local park (after hours though
) and we hung out on the jungle gym/slides/swings setup. Both had a great time and we were like 19/18 years old.

It's friggin' Holland, man. We only have one Starbucks, and it's located in Amsterdam. I ain't gonna make a 200 mile trip just to drink some damn Starbucks coffee, no matter how good it is.
I'd listen to the advice many people have given and stay away from the movie. You want her attention to be directed towards you, not the screen.

As another poster said, it really won't matter where you go if she really likes you. You'll want to avoid any sign of desperation by over doing it.
just play it cool and confident, the rest will work itself out.
