So I'm seeing this girl - (back story: met her at my friend's wedding, we clicked but nothing happened as I had a g/f. G/f moved away last month so new girl pounced on the chance to claim me as hers.)
She's three states away in Colorado but that is actually a blessing in disguise; I need to concentrate on school plus I was set on moving over to Denver next year anyway when I graduate.
Our ideals and personalities mesh almost perfectly; very similar but complementary in all the right places. We share the same sense of humor.
I can't recall getting along on this many levels and on so many issues with someone for the longest time.
She's mildly religious and I'm agnostic but I'm open to changing my outlook.
Her mother is young (39) and really hip; been talking to her on AIM and we get along really well.
Her dad has a totally bent sense of humor and is a cool guy. Reminds me a bit of me but 20 years older.
Her brother is 17 and likes cars, computers, and girls. I think we'll get along.
Interesting how just a few weeks ago I was thinking how good it would be to be single again and not have to worry about finding someone "right" for me for a while.
I guess she found me first.
Anyway, I'm flying out there for her birthday and managed to create a gigantic conspiracy to surprise her. Everyone from her best friend to her mother to her boss knows about it, and she still hs no clue. Only 2 more weeks. I can't wait.
