For my second date with this girl I was planning on cooking dinner for her at my place. She sounded pretty excited about it when I talked to her during the week. She was gonna come over at 7. Seeing how it's been quite some time since I cooked dinner for someone, I planned a really nice meal, bought wine, the works.

She called at 5 to say that she was going to an "impromptu birthday party" and she was sorry that she couldn't come over. For some reason she also mentioned that she was really busy with work. As I'm listening to this I'm looking at the table I had just finished setting, complete with a nice little flower arrangement and some candles. Wow what an inconsiderate bitch.
 
just forget about her right now and cut your losses. While you are doing that, start chugging down the wine....cant let that go to waste!

wise advice. I have already decided not to call her again, and if she in fact does call I'll just tell her that she's a little too rude for me to bother with. the only bad part is that she's close friends with one of my close friends at work.
