So everyone who replied yes is shallow. Your all willing to date/screw a stupid girl just because she's beautiful? Thats ludicrous. You can't built a relationship on that, and why the hell are you screwing girls that you don't plan on having a relationship with anyway? Im not saying a girl has to be a genious date, but she has to have a clue, along with many other criteria. Looks are not at the top of that list (But they are an added bonus) And on a side note, there are plenty of beautiful girls with a brain.

I dated a "stupid" girl for a few months..it got very irritating when I had to rephrase everything I said in small words so she could understand it. Thank got Melissa (my g/f) is witty and quick on the uptake. She can actually keep up sometimes when I speek geek. That's commendable.

Another inexperienced boy. When you are married and become one, it doesn't work when there are two bosses; two people setting direction. One must be willing to yield to the other. That's not to say that discussion shouldn't take place, but one has to be in charge. Since I know what is best for the family, I would rather have someone who went along with what I wanted knowing that it was the best, rather than have someone who was constantly challenging my decisions and trying to take the lead.

And what happens if the family "leader" dies or worse becomes totally dependent as result of accident or illness? Who takes care of the leading then? Does the "stupid girl" suddenly morph into Charles in charge?

There is a large difference between being of a more yielding personality and in being stupid.I tend to be of a more yielding,easy going type in my relationships,that does not make me stupid by a long shot nor does it make me incapable of occasionally having a strong preference or opinion. A wise man does not mistake passivity for stupidity.
