YAGT: worth dating?

Fenixgoon

Lifer
would it be worth casually dating around (more or less just hanging out with some womens) until i hit college (when i'll start looking for a real relationship again)?

thanks

fenixgoon

Hell yeah it's worth it. This is a perfect opportunity to get laid. The summer between high school and college is a blast...make the most of it.

The real question is why would your freshman year in college be the time to start looking for a serious relationship? 😕

i just got out of one (ending breaking up).. there's no point to trying to start a serious relationship in HS with 1.5 months of school left and 5 till i hit college

OK, rephrased for those who aren't blessed with the greatest mental acumen...

Why would you enter your FRESHMAN YEAR OF COLLEGE intending to start a SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP?

...or maybe it just takes a year or two of college to be able to understand what I'm trying to say :Q

Hmm ... it's up to you
One One side .... you are likely to have fun and some great experiences. You may also get some good quality luvin.

On the other side ... you'll save a lot of money, you don't have to worry about attachment, you will probably have more free time to do what YOU want to do.

If I were in your shoes, I'd start callin the girls ...

date yes (especially w/ benefits), relationship, god no. Please learn from others and don't waste your time on some crap long distance relationship. Have all the fun possible at the beginning of college and don't waste time on some random girl you will break up with anyhow.

maybe because i've only had 1 real gf to so far.. maybe because there's not a damn person at my house who acts like im worth something...could those be possible reasons?

in all seriousness, i don't believe my parents give a rat's ass about me.. they complain about my schoolwork, yet somehow i manage to be ranked 1st in my class for two years straight and have 11 academic awards (i play sports, too).. so frankly, im not feeling the love, nor have i felt it, for 18 years... i want to be on my own, i don't want to hear about my mom's friends, i want to hear about my friends, and i want to know that someone cares about me as much as i do about them

i've also had to live in the shadow of 4 siblings, all who are regarded as better than me (especially my twin sisters)

I get the feeling that you are the type that will get into serious relationship really young and then get married too young. What gigapet meant is that don't get to a SERIOUS relationship while you are really young.
