It's a damn good topic, and a damn good question! I buy Scott 12 packs on sale. If I could find larger quantities locally, for a better price, I'd buy it! I'll ask my wife why she doesn't stock up. Probably just so she'll have an excuse to go to the damn store.

Finally!

Someone with some damn sense.

until the river floods your basement and all those tampons blow the roof off your house.

I plan to.

I hate having to go out just to buy those stupid things.

truthfully, if you wanna know the real reason, it is because pads have adhesive strips on them and they don't stick after awhile. so if you bought them years in advance the stickiness might go out of the strips before you use them.

make sense?

they do buy in bulk .. at least some do. I take my g/f to Sam's club to get a year's supply. Much cheaper that way and I don't have to worry about being asked to run out for her.

I buy the 36 double roll pack at Sam's.

Unfortunately my g/f uses so much, it only lasts a few months. :(

Well i think 6 months to a years supply would still be sticky, right?

Buying the stuff every 6 months to a year would lower your trips to 1 or 2 per year.

Which beats the current 12 times or so per year. ;)

Not to mention, saving you money by buying in bulk.

1. Haven't they been the same for the last 20 years? :p
2. Can probably get them cheaper than sale price at CostCO or Sam's Club in bulk.
3. It's a big deal when we have to go buy them, because you have no good reason to NOT buy them in bulk.

We don't need to listen to you girls whining about running out of damn pads every month. :p

i looked into buying them at sams and costco and the huge jumbo packed worked out to the same price as buying two smaller ones at a normal store. (this is in can so the states might be different)

i usually get 2-3 months supply at a time, 2 years is kind of stupid.. like where would i keep them all? what if i want to try a new kind?

besides, it give me an excuse to go shopping :p

When I was rasising VeggieFrog by myself... we used to buy stuff like that in large amounts... cause we were two girls in the house, and with only one income... I was a bartender at the time, so money was... well, not like making a set amount in a paycheck... and that type of stuff was not something that we could be without if money was a bit tight... so tampons, liners, shampoo, body soap, toilet paper... we would buy in large bulk quantities.

:)
