Even girls who you aren't dating seem to get upset if you don't call them for a couple weeks. "You never call me."

This never happens with guys...my close friends don't care if I go 3 weeks without calling them. Some of my out of state friends, our only communication is on a fantasy message board or when talking smack to each other.

Edit: But since you've done this the whole time you've been with her, there isn't much you can do. If you stop doing it now, your relationship is over. Only way to prevent it is to never let it happen in the first place.
