YAGT: What type of golf balls do you play?

...and by YAGT, I mean yet another golf thread .


Anywho, ever since I started playing well and being able to tell a differance between different balls, I've been playing ProV1 and ProV1X's. However, I got a case of five dozen Nike One Blacks for free, and DAMN, they are the sweetest balls I've ever played. I think I'm switching, but we shall see.

So what type of ball do you ATOT golfers play? Do you care? Brand preferance? Soft or hard?

I like the Nike as well. I also like the Wilson Titanium. Something about them, just keeps me coming back.

This is ATOT, I expected about 80 sexual innuendos (there's probably five more N's in that friggin' word) and one, maybe two actual replies. Thus far, I am very dissapointed on both counts.

EDIT: What the heck, someone changed my title! It was so much funnier without the inclusion of "Golf." Golf should be lower case by the way.

Yeah, Vx's seem a little sloppy in tight in my experience, but I like em. I also played some NXT Tours recently and was very impressed.

Pretty much what I do too. A few years ago when I was playing at least once a week, I had bought a lot of Slazengers...Still a few laying around and they seem to play pretty well.

I am a big fan of Strata's, as they have a nice soft feel, and they are somewhat cheap.


My dad plays with Pro-v1's and Maxfli Noodles.

I have a box of new titlest "straight flight" or something along that line that I play when i'm serious and I like them alot.

I regularly use Callaway Big Bertha Blue, but I bought a box of Callaway HX Hot. I'm hoping the 3-piece cover ill give better feel and spin than the 2-piece BBB.

EDIT: How'd you get the 5 dz for free? Can I get me some of that action?

I use what ever walmart has the cheapest. My play doesn't rely on the ball's structure but on my temper management. No sense get more pissed off when I lose a ball.
