So my girlfriend and I will have been dating for a year on October 10. I have an idea, but I'll use that for her birthday which is shortly after (in November). I was just wondering if you guys had any spontaneous ideas or ideas for gifts...I'm running out of ideas. Please, help me out.

Knowing that this isn't the best place to ask,

You see, the problem is that she already has plenty of jewelry; another problem is that I don't have that kind of money. I need some good ideas that are somewhat practical, so she'll think of me whenever she sees it.

well, for our one year, which was about 28 days before yours, I wrote my gf a 3 page letter recapping the things that happened during the year, and I also attempted to draw a picture of her.....

she was happy..

if you are talking about buying a presents, I have no idea.

cute earrings? You can find some really cool, unique ones for less than 20 bucks.

She'll think of you every time she wears them.

Earings are tricky though, some girls like one style and other girls like another.

See, I'm definitely going to write her a note; and the second part is almost my idea for her brithday - I'm going to paint a picture of her. I'm going to draw her face in quadrants on the different corners of the canas, and have a lily painted in the middle (her favorite flower). I need ideas for actual gifts :)

Seriously, ear rings is the way to go, you know what kind she likes so get something similar but not the same.

1) a man who can actually please her

2) mention you want to apply to medical/law/buisness school (if your out of college) that will keep her around for a while!

3) print a fake note that a child in africa is being sponsored in her name

4) Tell her that she now has the privledge to make you a sandwich

My ex would have commented that with "So, you are too cheap to take me out".

It's not a bad idea, combine that with the ear rings and i think it could be a winner.

You should have replied that she's too much of a fat cow to be seen in public. ;)

I have the same dilemma; My anniversary is on the 24th of November

I'm getting her a 24K ring, with "My heart is yours forever" engraved on it.

hmm, gift for anniversary should be nothing more than a dinner at a nice restaurant.
