Be supportive. Remember that this is your girlfriend's problem, not yours. She is going to need to deal with him.

She should probably start by ignoring his phone calls or rejecting calls from his number(s). Any attention from her to him is going to be misconstrued by him. She needs to cut off all communication. If he shows up where she works, she will need to ignore him or have the manager tell him to leave. If he shows up at her place, she should tell him to leave and that she is not interested in talking to him.

This is the ONLY way he is going to get the message.
