I would've stayed in WV..... all she had to do was ask.

For the record, I hate WV, and would rather line my underwear with 60-grit sandpaper than live there again.
 
I saved every hair of her's that fell to the ground. I couldn't let such beauty be left foul on the dirty floor.I wish I could say I've made a doll, already, but I still have a few more to go.
 
seems like half of the gestures involve driving ridiculous amount of time to surprise him / her. Good stuff though.
 
I once drove back and forth from Southern Tennessee to Maryland a whole lot of times to spend time with this girl. I was in college, so I could only drive up on the weekends. I really liked her and we'd talk on the phone all the time while I was in TN. She would even play all these lovey dovey songs to me on the phone. So, the last time I drove up there she wasn't answering her phone or returning messages. I finally got ahold of her a couple hours before I had to drive back and I went to talk to her. She told me that she didn't think we should see eachother anymore and that she was moving to Washington state. I found out later that between weekends I was up there, she was going clubbing with and spending the night at some guy's apartment. What a skank, huh? I didn't even hit it because I thought we were actually developing a good relationship. I got pwned hardcore. 🙁

Was best man at my best friends wedding last summer. Held off the drink, had fun, and after the dancing was done I took off and drove a 450KM drive starting at 1:00am, getting to her house at 3:40am (normally a 4+ hr drive on the best of days.... ). Beat her alarmclock by about 10 minutes, woke her up still in my tux, and took her to the airport where she was flying down to NJ for training in her new job for a month.

She was quite happy about it 🙂

Dating for 4.5 yrs, btw.
 
at the end of high school, when we seperated, i gave my first gf/the first girl i cared about a logitech webcam, a usb interface for it, and a t & co necklace. i didn't know any better. now i know better the value of women and money.

in terms of inexperience, and how much money i had back then, that was a big deal.

Yep, really lame. It made me disinterested in dating for awhile. Maryland does rock, but the traffic blows. Did you live in MD? On a completely unrelated note because I've been at the hospital far longer than I would have liked, there's a stethoscope on the desk next to me that looks exactly like your avatar.
 
Man has been chasing, pleasing and appeasing P since the beginning of time. Not much has changed, except the techniques employed.
 
Invited her to the Navy Ball.

I payed for her dress, her ticket and a bunch of other things. In the end that "free" nookie cost me about 250 bucks. But we both had a great time, during and after the Ball.
 
for a one-year anniversary I bought her a $330 plane ticket (Houston to Phoenix, memorial day), planned out a whole weekend including a fancy dinner and a boquet of her favorite flowers arranged on the table when we arrived

also spent more than 1K that summer flying her and me back and forth, in addition to many drives during the school year of 250 miles roundtrip (to be fair she drove the distance as often as I did)

broke up with her a couple of months after summer ended

It was itchy, so told her I wouldn't be doing that again.

To add what I said earlier. Tonight I have planned: Trail of flowers leading to the bathroom. Bubble bath with rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries awaits her.
