As human beings, why do we even care? I'll tell you why. The whole reason for hair styles and clothing types and "style" is just to fit in with whatever societal reference you want to relate to the most.

Honestly, if you like the braids, keep em. If not, drop 'em. You should not have to get other's opinions.
