@Stunt, I was just trying to counter the lies spewed by you and other Bushistas/neocons/cons at P&N. You can read all the propaganda coming out of DumbYa admin and come to your shortsighted, foreign conclusions. I was there. Educated at the top schools in the states, holding 3 degrees, and unable to find work. To answer your Q, i was unemployed for 3 months before coming to Cambridge and knew that my appointment at Penn was over 6 months before it happened. BTW, youre showing your juvenile nature claiming to make more than myself when you were 22. I dont care, im in an academic environment. If i was in industry you would be eating your words as fast as you wolf down a dozen Big Macs. Youre still fat dating fat chics off the net. You should weigh yourself because there is no way that you can fit that many chins on a 180 pound frame.
a) I am not a Bush supporter in the least, see one of my latest
posts;
I am a Conservative party member in Canada and I 100% agree the true conservatives are indeed in the Democratic party. If I were an American I would be completely disgusted by the fiscal managment of my nation and would never call a republican a conservative at all. They aren't conservative in any way; spending, government control, military, rights and freedoms.
The problem is, Democrats have aligned themselves (in my opinion for funding) with the wrong people. Some of these liberal extremist groups are much worse than the anti-abortion movement. Sure you'll get less funding, but who gives a rat's ass, when push comes to shove the lefties will vote with you anyway. Become the party of ideas, reason and logic. Unfortunately both parties are absolutely hopeless right now.
I am a pragmatic, I don't need to listen to your elitest garbage.
b) Educated at the nation's top schools and still no job; your people skills my be atrocious. My experiences seem to verify this conclusion, this thread doesn't do you much justice either. Education is a complementary tool for your career; not an end all. Corporations like to develop and give experience to their employees as they learn more practical and industry specific knowledge, not just material in a generic textbook. You are the perfect example of a person who tried to go it alone with regards to education and got the big thumbs-down from industry. Congrats.
PS. You wouldn't last a day in my shoes; dealing with people is over 60% of the job. Demanding the respect and productivity of your employees to improve and stay in business. Low margin, commodity based industries are cut-throat, you wouldn't be able to handle it. Especially considering you couldn't even handle a successful career from "the nation's top schools", all you do is complain.
c) Again, I have never dated fat chicks from the internet, and yes I do in fact weigh 180 lbs. Welcome to reality...you should try it sometime. But if you think I'm insulted by your comments, good for you...whatever makes you *feel* intellectually superior. That's what you elitists thrive on.
