YAGT: what bass pedal does Pink Floyd use?

I will tell you one thing - It's not from a "pedal". (although it could probably be emulated by a modern pedal)

I can't really listen to it now, but it sounds like a bit if distortion on the high end with some light tape flange. I'll listen too it again in the morning and check to see if anyone has given a better answer by then.

Pink Floyd's bass section used a lot of distortion/sustainer effects. If I remember correctly their effects were often custom made, so not much off the shelf that you could get to simulate it. You'd have to build the sound yourself with various pedal/amp combos.

Good point. They used a LOT of crazy stuff to get their unique sounds. I'm sure Gilmour used something unusual from his bag of tricks for that bass sound.
