I just got my wisdom teeth taken out 2 days ago and I have 6 stiches in my lip also at the moment, my entire face is swollen and sore. So I don't really feel like going out. But my friend calls me and asks me if I'm doing anything tonight and asks if I want to go see a movie. I tell her I don't really feel like going out. So then she tells me she just don't want to stay home tonight and tells me that if I want some company, she'll be around. Then she suggests that she go pick up a movie and come over to my house and we could watch it. I told her that I just feel crappy right now and just wanna take it easy tonight.

This was kinda unusual and caught me off guard cause we dont really ever hang out. Our families are really good friends so thats how I've known her. I'm over at their house pretty often. The thing is I know that in the past she used to like me, 4 years ago or so. I don't really know if she still does. Occasionally, she does or says somethings that kinda weird like this. I didn't really want to start anything with her cause our dads work together and our families are pretty friendly. It would just make it weird.

What do you guys think of my situation?

If you think life revolves around sex and that if a woman wants to watch a movie at your house it automatically mean she wants to suck you dry, then yeah you're a moron. Otherwise, if you live in the real world like the rest of us, you're fine.

call her back... tell her that you would enjoy having her company...

tell her your face is a bit aching, but if she can deal with that... grab a movie and come on over.

Turning down pleasant female companionship is NEVER wise. Call her back. She may have had innocent intentions, but then again maybe she didn't. :)

Call her back and tell her to bring her girl friend before coming over.

My girlfriend does the same thing! Pulls this weird crap every once in a while that makes no sense and is completely out of character. Seems like women are more jumpy the days. You don't hear about this stuff happening 10 years ago...

I never said sex and thats not what I was thinking of, I just know that she liked me and maybe still does. I'm just trying to figure out what would prompt her to do that cause its unusual since we dont really ever hang out and shes not in my main group of friends. I'm bad at picking up on signals and I'm trying to figure out if she still likes me.
