She goes to Boston University, I go to RIT.

we went to the same highschool, and this is our first year in college.
I applied to BU to be with her, but i didnt get in, so i went to RIT.

Things, over the last week or so, have been hard for me and her.

Shes coming to visit me in 9 days, so we decided to take a "break" before then
Rules include no sex, including oral.

Problem is, boston is going to be a crazy place over the next week, because of the yanks/sox and this weekend my parents are coming up. ugh. so looks like all fun for her and nada for me. plus i go to RIT.

Then when she comes here in 9 days, we'll see how things go and decide from there.

What do you guys thing? the end? shes my first gf, and i love her to death, and if i were with her in BU i wouldnt be doing this, but its so hard being far apart
 
If you can't handle this kind of thing, I don't know what to tell you.

I know a good friend of mine who wasn't with her boyfriend for 4 years, they're the happiest couple I can think of.

What's that saying again? Can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen?
 
Long distance relationships = bad. "Breaks" = bad (and hella lame, I have to say).

I hope things work out for you, but it's definitely not the best situation.

Well it isn't looking good.

Breaks = bad news

BUT if you can handle it then well you should be in for a long relationship. Both be honest with each other. If you can't handle or rather don't want to dot he long distance thing then just break it off. Go experience College and wear a rain coat!

If you're ever serious about someone, you'll never be comfortable with them hooking up with someone else. So as soon as one of you exercises your new freedoms, the other will extremely pissed and it will snowball from there.

yeh .. i just broke up with my gfriend of almost 2 yrs... we survived the first year of college... but this one wasnt going so good... we still see each other when we go home... but i can tell things have changed... i hope that we can work things out... i just dont know when...


trust me dude... long distance relationships when you wont see the person for a long time dont work out...
its too damn tough and it is easier if you can break it off as friends... dont get drunk and make out with some soroustitute... then have to deal with all the sh!t that goes along...

believe me ... just kill it as friend... have fun the first year of college... and spend all the tiem you want with her when your both home...

i wish i would have ...
