I'll get to the point... found someone online with similar interests (like WoW). As any WoW player can tell you there's a lot of servers and one cannot move characters between them now. But I thought it would be fun to play WoW together...


How would you solve this dilemma?

Note that I don't really know her yet but sent a short email about my profile, WoW chars, etc. Also know she is single/looking.

hmmm. I met a chick playing CS once.. she was actually pretty hot IRL when we met, but turned out our only interest was sex and CS, so that died pretty fast, I still drop by her place when I go to Toronto for some fun.


Reason for that story


Do you have any other interests besides WOW? if not, it's a waste of time to try and pursue this.

See if she wants to hang out so you can get to know her better. I voted for Ask to on-campus moive since that's the closest option.

At any rate, I would probably stay away from someone who played WoW, but since you are also a WoWer I'm going to hazard a guess you're pretty desperate...

Heh... well it might be hard to believe if you've never met any couples who play WoW, but since I started my coop job I've met a few and they are quite happy. Is WoW all they do? Of course not. I play with some of them on occasion.

Can't say I didn't expect some of the attitudes I'm seeing here but I've made dumb posts on ATOT too so I shouldn't say much.

Sorry man it's just that a lot of the people I know who play WoW are so insanely wrapped up in it... I really think, and call me old fashioned, that online RPGs are the drug of the new millenium. Just a lot nerdier, and less herion-chic.
