Jerking off is the best advice I've seen yet posted in this thread. I mean... come on.. check out the benefits:

1) You get off
2) No back talk
3) No emotional baggage
4) Safest form of sex known to exist
5) Doesn't cost you a an arm & a leg for a movie & dinner date
6) Is readily available to use at any given moment
7) Once you get yours, you don't have to worry about any cuddling afterwards

Well, a lot of things going on, as in, her sister has been insanely sick, and as mentioned before, her parents are on the verge of splitting. I mean, what I really want to know, is it worth it to wait a while, and ask her if there can ever be anything there again, or should I just consider it all a bad dream?

In answer to your question, it may be worth it to wait a while, if you like her. Sounds like she's got a lot going on in her life right now, and girls really are apt to change (or not know their own) minds a lot. Depends on whether you want a girlfriend in general or this girl in particular. Know that, in waiting, you may possibly be waiting for something that won't happen, so set a deadline for yourself on how long you think it's worth it to wait for the possibility.

but honestly waiting seems like the best and greatest thing you can do for her.

but if it were REALLY meant to be man, she would have had you to come to and not remove you out of her life.

Definitely props. Most people don't consider you to have been in the "real world" if you skipped the "screwing up" part and made it straight to the adult world. It's easier for you than them in both the short and the long run though.
 
Give her space enough though that might be hard for you. If she comes back and everything turns out ok, then that's good. If not, the world isn't over. You're young... don't worry dude.

OP: you told her online? Goodness. What has this world come to? Even I've never told girls things like that on AIM. Last time we seemed to be drifting down that path, I told her I would call her and we would talk on the phone at least..
