Sure, that's if the papillae on your tongue are as coarse and abrassive as the bristles on your toothbrush, and that's if you agitate the hell out of your partner's gums as you do with a toothbrush. The risk is in the agitation of the gums from the toothbrush resulting in microlacerations, thus blood.

some people are just very weird about sharing things like that...

i know i'd be kinda "ech" about my boyfriend using my toothbrush. Not to say I wouldn't let him..but I'd just feel "ech". He was a bit hesitant about letting me use his toothbrush once too..i had slept over his house...and didn't have anything to brush my teeth w/ in the morning...and he was like.."hmm...well....i guess...you could use mine..."
