lol my bad!

There's a very good chance she was a little freaked out by you saying that before even starting a relationship.

Just ask her why she acts like you two are going out (the kissing, making out, etc) but refuses to make it official.

I told her that I love her and I want her to be my girlfriend, and her responce was I love you to, but I don't want to be your girlfriend right now. This was before the movies, and when we were at the movies I was hugging her and she was hugging me. And then later on after the movie she started making out with me and then I asked the question again. And again I got the same answer....whats wrong with that? She wants to be all over me and make out with me but she doesn't want to be my girlfriend I'm kinda confused here.

First off, dude, you dont tell a girl you love her until its absolutely necessary. Its best to just let your actions speak louder than words until you are for sure that its okay to say something like that. Those are 3 really powerful words and they're misused far too often by well-intentioned people who end up hurting the other person because they have no real grasp on the concept of being in love with someone.

Second thing, who cares if she wants to be your girlfriend? She wants to make out, she probbably wants to hook up, and you're ruining it by opening your mouth. ITS A GOOD THING that she doesn't want to be your girlfriend. It means you can go and hang out with other girls too, and she can't get mad cause she said no. It means you get benefits with no commitment. Stop over-analyzing everything and just go with it.

I disagree. That honor goes to any number of YAGTs started by skywalker66. This guy, at least, has managed to find a girl who's into him, if a little shy of the whole committment thing.

Either one of two things, or possibly both.
1: You moved too fast for her and now she's freaked out, yet she still likes you, but not enough to be your boyfriend anymore.
2: She likes you, wants to mess around, but doesnt want a boyfriend like she says. She could either be using you for a good time, or she might not wanna get tied down at the moment.

If it leads to sex, I don't understand what the problem is. Sounds like the perfect fvckbuddy.

Why is there a need to "make it official" ? there's everything to gain and nothing to lose by keeping your options open.

He's right, if sex can come out of this, you have nothing to whine about. You have right now what most guys dream of....embrace it, use it, and love her like you've never loved anyone before.

I'm not sure which piece of advice was worse... This one, or the "put it in her butt" comment :)

Anyway, you should really post this kind of stuff in some match.com or yagt.com forum. You're probably not going to get any good relationship advice here.

I think the latter one is more likely... and you do know the yagt.com forum are ppl from here, right?

Yeah, that's the confusing part. He wants to make it "official"... why?

I mean, they hang out, they make out, they like each other, he told her he loves her and she said the same (although I'm not sure what that gets him). Why does he want to mess with it if she doesn't want to be his offical girlfriend? It's not the same as marriage.

I think several relevant points have already been made here.

1) If he's really serious about this, give her some time. There's not a lot more he can do. Pushing will drive her away.

2) If it leads to sex, who cares? Perfectly relevant for most guys.

3) Put it in her butt. It speaks for itself! :D

4) It may be that she already ahs a man... or that she's waiting for someone else. In that case, one needs to weigh the options of what's coming out of the time spent with the girl. Is it better to have her now and see what comes, or drop her?

Perhaps the best advice I see here, though, is not to ask the ATOT community about advice on girls!!

Good luck!

Sounds like:
She wants some gf\bf action without making a commitment
or
She is seeing someone or has broken up with someone is not ready to start another relationship.

How old is she?
