With all due respect for women. and correct me if I am wrong, If she has a job as a reseptionist I would imagine she can't be making more than 40k. I would not be able to afford that kind of equipment with that salary. But then again I don't know her whole story, but if she has other 'normal' expenses, Then either she is 1000's of $ in debt or her husband makes a lot of money. If its the latter, then he is really buying his own birthday gift. So really all you have is a pretty woman who likes to spend your money. I personally wouldn't like to have that.

how do we know what her husband does? he could be making 250k for all we know.
I don't think i saw anything in here that the OP said what he does... or did he?

Lift weights (to the point where you get "huge"), do lots of cardio (to the point where you get "cut"), get a better haircut, and a little bit of a tan, and do something with that goatee and you will be good to go.

You mean try to look like your avatar? lol

That would be the 'Latter' I speak of, and then she is really spending his money and buying his own gift.

I realized what i said could be considered sexist. I know that they are married and spereation of money doesn't really matter. But, I wouldn't want someone to buy the most expensive gift for me just because its expensive.

Point: I don't find that a reason to want her.

To be honest, when someone least expects to find that perfect person... *poof* they come along out of the blue.
Sixone is right.

 this has been my experience, though obviously this won't necessarily be true for everyone.

8800GTX? costs too much imo and there are hardly (if not any) dx10 games on the market. i'd step down to an X1950Pro or a 7950GT, possibly an 8800GTS.

I'm sure there's more to the story. Why don't you just tell yourself that she's probably buying it as a guilt gift because she cheated on him? You create delusions and everyone's a winner.

Don't listen, Ryan!! You look pretty fine the way you are.

The right one will come along when the time is right. You just need to be patient.

being proactive is much better approach IMO. Not with women but with everything. Sitting back and waiting you can watch your life pass you by pretty quickly.

she's stupid spending all that money on a vid card. why would you want a girl like that?

What have you been smoking????

not everybody orgasms over graphics cards. I'd rather get a new set of golf clubs personally.

omfg...the stupidity of some people on this forum just knows no limits...

I hope you're referring to the other two twits there, because I'm a certifiable genius!

Seriously though, I wasn't talking about the fact that she spent money on a video card per se Pimp Juice. I just meant why WOULDN'T you want a gf who hooks you up like that.

I'm old school with money and women and tend to be the one who insists on paying for most of everything. My past two relationships have seen me with women who believed in equally sharing the cost of the relationship (i.e. they offer "You buy drinks this time, I'm paying next time."). It's a nice change of pace and I see the wisdom in it now where I didn't before for some stupid reason.

I'd have no problem spending that on my gf if I could comfortably manage it and it was something she would really appreciate. It's nice to see there are women out there who think the same way.

However long it takes. /shrug

I know how frustrating it is to not be able to have what you want, when you want it. But then there's that old saw about "Good things come to those who wait." That's an old saw for a reason.

Maybe that's what he said he wanted.
