heh, with my current gf who is "superhot", i just invited her over and made pizza, then we watched bubbleboy while we ate, and then went to play pool for a few hours. I also was sorta "friends" with her for about 3 weeks beforehand, although I was only friends so that I could steal her. 🙂

A movie isn't a bad idea. Just go early so you have some time to get to chat & get to know each other a bit before the movie starts.

I don't like movies for early dates -- too awkward and anti-social. You don't really know the person and as a result, you don't really know what kind of movie that they'd like or what to do during the film (put arm around her, etc.). So basically you sit there for two hours and afterwards, you don't know anything more about the person than before.

Something like minigolf is a good idea, or even bowling or something that forces interaction.

I dunno, unless you know her fairly well, I wouldn't do an inhouse date. It would be uncomfortable for her and might seem presumptuous of you (as if you were planning on staying in... all night 😉 ).
