I would like a 3rd party opinion on what I wrote in a good-bye letter to a special someone.

Please read it in PM form and reply to me there, as there's a lot of private info and I don't really want to air it all out here.

Just need 2 volunteers. Tell me if it sounds boring, repetitive, dragging on way too long, too mushy, or parts where it may be inappropriate and unnecessary.

Thanks.

If you think there's a chance that it might be, then it probably is. However, chicks dig that mushy, boring, repetitive, dragging crap, so she'll love it. Maybe.

I PMd him and here it is:

Dear Stewart,

I have been trying to think of a way to tell you this without hurting you. We have so many wonderful memories together, like the time we both dressed up as Judy Garland and went to "The Manhole." Memories like that will never fade.

It is time to say goodbye, though. I have been unfaithful. Many times, with many different men. Often times it was with many different men simultaneously. There is just an area of me you could never touch, but Roger sure can.

Also, please get yourself tested. I have these warts and cannot be totally sure they were from that bullfrog that Lenny brought over.

How about a serious answer: Never, ever, end any form of relationship with a letter. Plain and simple. Do it in person if possible. If not, do it on the phone. After it is over, there is no need for a letter. You'll only regret the letter later in life. Tear up what you wrote. Delete it from your computer. Move on with your life.
