When/if I ever find myself with a girlfriend, well, I don't think I'd be willing to put up with any of that kind of BS for long.

Most girls do it to some varying degree. Just find one that doesn't make a habit of doing that.

I understand it intellectually, but I can't really wrap my mind around hurting people for fun. If you're going to prank someone, it should be very minor and harmless.
