Wow...

I hope she didn't draw that one out but just said April Fool's right after she said that, because that would be a mean spirited April Fool's joke.

no, she didn't draw it out. she said it, then i realized it was april fool's day and then she started giggling and said "i love you".

Slap her then say April Fools!

Seriously do NOT do that, she will break up with you, and call the police.

I almost spit out my lemonade.

i feel like i am going to puke

you should have said "sweet... now I can keep having sex with <insert one of her hottest friends name here> without feeling guilty"...

April fools.

My girlfriend used to do the whole "maybe we should take a break" thing everytime we'd fight and I'd take her seriously, and the act would continue until I said something mildly incriminating-- and then she'd take offense to what I said and tell me that she was just joking before but "now I blew it." God that used to piss me off...
Mind games are fun, aren't they?

When/if I ever find myself with a girlfriend, well, I don't think I'd be willing to put up with any of that kind of BS for long.

Most girls do it to some varying degree. Just find one that doesn't make a habit of doing that.

Why do people think that stuff is funny? 😕

I understand it intellectually, but I can't really wrap my mind around hurting people for fun. If you're going to prank someone, it should be very minor and harmless. Like putting their telephone on the hook upside down and then calling them. Or walking around with an open umbrella indoors just to make people stare in confusion. Or leaving pencils on their desk with the logo of a sports team they hate. Much more than this and you've just stepped over the line into shamelessly being a jerk for your own amusement, which is not the essence of friendship or decency as I understand it, even if it's reciprocal.

Agreed
