I originally signed up 5 years ago to sell a Rio mp3 player on FS/FT. I mainly browsed the forums that I helped run (Final Fantasy Alpha), because it had such a nice community (and crazy... almost ATOTish at times). I usually just read Anandtech articles and posted comments, but never really looked at the forums other than an occasional help thread for something I couldn't figure out.
