People that live for stuff like this to happen, just like a zombie apocalypse. Anyway, glad it turned this way, although it is a shame that one guy was injured. Maybe the police can get to the bottom of it.

Not in california, lucky bastard. Here the criminal could have OWNED that guy in the courts. In CA, that's imprisonment, assault, and possibly brandishing, and others.... that IT guy has NO RIGHT to apprehend a citizen like that. That's what police are for(other than arriving 5 minutes later to write reports on what happened)

ive seen people detained by police for restraining suspects before the cops got to the scene, but i have never seen anyone charged with anything for doing it. even the old guy that choked out a drunk that tried to flee after destroying 6 cars in a parking lot.

kudos to this guy, could have turned out worse than it did. also, keep in mind the guy is a former security guard, so he likely has a bit of training.

This happened almost 2 weeks ago I think. First I've heard he works for Bungie though.

I know several people who carry handcuffs. The fact that he made a citizens arrest is a little out of the norm, most people who carry know the laws well enough that they would never intervene unless their personal protection was in question.

Wut?!? Guns are legal in Seattle. Concealed carry with permit, and open carry without anything.
