YAGT: Make a move on a girl a friend is interested in?

Here's the weirdly complicated situation. I introduced a male friend of mine to a girl I've been hanging out with for a few months now. I've known him for 10 years and I just met her, so I said to him "want me to introduce you guys? She's single, you're single..." Well, he said he's interested in her and I've given him 2 weeks and 4 hang out sessions. He's done nothing. Now, I'm not terribly into this girl but the last time we hung out she ended up hanging off of me and I think I can at least .. be more receptive? But now I feel bad because this friend of mine expressed interested... I'm not being a dick if I just think to myself, "I gave him a fair chance and if he's a chump I shouldn't feel bad," right?

As I see it, it's everyone man for himself! Penis Dawnism. But, you're not really into this girl so why dangling her along? If you want to proceed, make it clear to her you are just after the poon!

Oh, we're friends and hang out like 2 or 3 times a week.. She's really not my type so I haven't done anything, though we get oftly chummy when drunk and.. well...

How many of these threads have you started? Seriously. Always some different chick, always a "should I...?" Either you never make a move or you always get shot down...what is it?

I have a big thread, yes, and I *DO* make moves constantly. I get shot down a lot as 'let's be friends' but this is a differnet case.. just wondering out loud if I should even follow through on being more receptive...

He's not really that nice, I think he's a bigger wuss than I am.. In fact, I felt bad when he said "sure, I could use a fvck friend..." the dude should know better, I consider her a friend and he shouldn't have said that.. ok, now I don't feel so bad!

the big question is whether your buddy is truly interested in this chick. if not, go for it. if so, you're gonna have to share a little and double team her.

Why don't you leave this one alone. You have posted so many of these YAGT and you have gone on so many dates. The only reason you even are thinking about going after this girl is because your friend likes her. There's enough for everyone. Don't be a dating whore.

Ok, I actually think you're right here.. I never considered going out with her until I got frustrated with him not doing anything. I even bought her drinks and excused myself for half an hour, leaving the two to get to know each other and he ended up doing nothing.. I'm not a dating whore, but I see this girl who's kinda cute who I tried to help a friend meet and he did nothing again and again. Though she's cute and I obviously enjoy spending time with her, I hope I don't make her feel rejected because I don't mean to and, well, I haven't had much luck with the ladies so I should at least be receptive, right?
