Most of the HRAs were made in the 50s as well (if not exclusively, don't remember the date or serial # ranges).
And the lists of makers of weapons/ordinance/etc. is really interesting. GM had several plants devoted to war production (Saginaw, Underwood). Rock-Ola Piano Corp. IBM. International Harvester. National Postalmeter. Uh...who else...Singer Sewing (made machine guns for the US and Britain). Etc.
