This is in regards to my other thread here.
I finally got her number and she wants to meet up with me tomorrow. We don't have class tomorrow so neither of us really have any reason to be on campus. Anyway, should I call tonight and work out something or should I wait till tomorrow to call?

Called her. Apparently she was expecting it as she picked up and casually said "Hey Brian."
We talked for a few mins about class and then she said we should probably do the lunch thing since it gets crowded at dinner around finals time. So I'm meeting her for pizza tomorrow at 12:30-1:00. I get the feeling she really wants to see my apartment because almost every time we talk she asks about it. Like this time she was like, well I can meet you at your apartment and we can go together. Now I would have accepted had I known her intent(If she wanted me to drive thats a no go as A) My truck is at home B) I can't drive, If she wanted to drive that would have been ok.) and if my room wasn't trashed and I had a real bed. Currently my room is a mess which can be fixed in an hour or less but my bed consist of a mattress on the floor w/ 2 sheets and a pillow. My queen set is on its way but has not yet arrived.

Sob! She just called. My phone rang and I didn't know who it was because she was using a friend's phone.
Her "Hey Brain, its Ashley. I don't have my phone so I'm using my friend's to call you. Anyway could you pick me at Physics around 12:30?"
To myself: "FVSK!"
Me "You wanna know the truth?"
Her "Wha.."
Me "I don't have a car."
Her "Well, how were you planning to get downtown?"
Me "The bus."
Her "Oh...ok...well you can just meet me at Physics around 12:30. We'll take the bus down town."
I'm screwed. Thats it. "GAME OVER MAN!"
Update3: The date... 08/05/03
Went surprisingly well. I met her a few mins early and brought her a water. We got on the bus(sat next to each other) and went by the football stadium. We started talking about football and how she's never been to one(I need to score some tickets). We got off the bus and stood in line at the ATM for about 10 mins so she could get some money(I told her I had more than enough but she insisted). The guy ahead of her took forever and we started making fun of him. I carried her backpack for her as we walked to the restaurant(Depalma's, if you live in Athens you would know that this is a very nice Italian place). We were seated in the back of course(all college students are looked down upon in places down town). We sat down and then she asked if she could use my phone to check her messages and call her mom. Stupidly I said yes, totally forgetting the girl on my background wearing a thong. She popped it open and was like, "Who is this?" in one of those slow teasing voices. Anyway so she talked on the phone for about 5 mins, its been 10 min since we were seated and we'd yet to see a waiter. Then we started talking about stuff like where we've live, what we like to do, drinking, etc. Finally the waiter came and we ordered. He came back 3 times just to make sure he got my right(someone tell me how hard it is to remember penne Alfredo and a side salad with ranch). Anyway, from the conversation I learned that she loves the outdoors(I already knew that from her body, surfer girl look), likes live music, her birthday, and a few other things. I on the other hand am not an outdoors person(but I can change). We learned that we are both procrastinators and disorganized. She said her room was a mess and I was like me too. Then almost at the same time we were like "and if anyone cleans it I can't find anything." We both started laughing. Anyway, the food came. We continued to talk and laugh though a few times there were those awkward silences, but I would try and start something. She's already admitted that she talks too much and the other day I told her I don't talk enough. We both ate about half our food and then split the check and left. We walked around downtown for a few mins while I tried to give her a tour best I could. As we were riding the bus I got her AIM name and she told me as soon as school starts she'll be on a lot and to IM her anytime. I said I would. She also hinted that she might be going downtown tomorrow night so we'll see what I can do about that. We got off the bus and I told her I would call her later tonight to check on her. Then we parted ways. Sigh, she has the most beautiful eyes and smile I have ever seen. Hopefully I can keep this going. She's leaving in a week to go back to school in north GA, but she said she would be back for Junior and Senior year.
Cliff notes: Date went great.

Met with her after our physics final(we both made Bs in the class). We had pizza for lunch followed by ice cream. Had a very nice time and we are going to a club tonight. In other news half my face is numb since I had a filling redone at the dentist. She's leaving Friday night and won't be back for a while so I'm thinking about taking her to a movie.

Met her downtown with a friend, she gave me a hug(1st time doing so). She looked amazing. We got something to eat and then went to a rap off. The rapoff started later so we just listened to music and talked. At the end of the date i walked her back to her car and told her I would call her tomorrow. She said ok, gave me a hug, and we parted ways.
Update6 ...The End? 08/08/03
I think its over. I called her earlier yesterday and we started talking. Then she got another call so she put me on hold. Then not 10secs after we started talking again I got a call and asked her to hold. She said she would just call me back when she got home. She finally called me back about two hours later. I asked her to sing a part of the song she was telling me about last night so after making me promise she wasn't on speaker phone, she did. Sign, I love the sound of her voice. I asked her if she was free at all tomorrow but she said she would be spending the whole day with her father. I called her again later to tell her that i finished the CDs she wanted. She asked me if I had just wanted to hear her sing earlier and I admitted that I had. She said she was eating dinner and that she would call me back. She still hasn't called. :brokenheart: Today is her last day in town and I really want to talk to/see her but all my friends are telling me not to call until Sunday and that if she really wants to talk she'll call me before she leaves. Should I follow their advice?
