YAGT: Is .40 less accurate than 9mm?

I have a Sig 226 in 9mm that I can shoot pretty well to 25 yards. Lately I've been ogling a CZ75 SA .40 at my local gunshop. Really like that SA trigger, and I know the 75 is a very accurate pistol in 9mm. Anyone know if I'm going to take a noticable hit in accuracy going to .40?

9 mm was pretty easy to shoot with for me with the lack of kickback i could be accurate and not that bad firing repeatedly.

.45/.44 that ive shot, yea, i could hit stuff accurately first shot, but then the second shot was way the fvck out there.

Nope, felt recoil will be greater with the .40 but shot out of the same length barrel they should be similar in accuracy. Assuming you don't flinch when firing the .40 you should be able to produce similar groups with it.

Recoil doesn't throw me too much. I can shoot a good .45 1911 about as well as the Sig. But the only guns in .40 I've been able to rent have been Glocks, which I just don't shoot well - so I don't have a good frame of reference.

If you can shoot a .45 the .40 should be no problem.
