The reason I recommended kissing on the first date is because they have known each other for a long time. And he writes that he has been in love with her for four years. She wants to move their relationship out of the friend zone enought that she is taking him out.

It would help her know how he feels if he did something like kissing her.
 
Call her up and ask her if it's okay that you just remain friends. Tell her having a real date is too stressful, you're too much of a dork, and that you'd rather remain celibate for the rest of your life than get up the nerve to hold a girl's hand. Tell her that if she's thinking about getting a kiss she's better off kissing a frog because that's more likely to yield a prince than a kiss with you has of yielding a man.

THANKS, that really helps. Actually maybe it does, thank you. I have plenty of nerve to hold her hand, thats not a problem.

As for the kiss, I'm still not sure. But if the opportunity is there.....
 
These are the kind of threads that make me ashamed of being on this board. Whatever your motive was for posting this I doubt it was the seeking of advice.

Well, I hope so. Some of you guys I just want to smack upside the head. They're just girls dammit. Treat them like a person, let them know you're interested, don't act like an idiot. It's simple really.

she knows how he feels, but don't scare her away. Kiss her on the second date.

Update:

Once again, thanks everyone for the advice. Things could not have gone better. I'm not really going to go into details, but she knows where I stand 🙂

Few things: Yes we did more than "hold hands" throughout the movie, no i didnt kiss her, and yes we did hold hands walking to the car.

I just feel great now.

And just so you know, Tomb Raider 2 Sucks (She picked), not that i really could pay much attention..
