After 3 years of dating the most amazing girl ever, tomorrow is the day!! Here's the game plan...take notes fellas. 🙂
My best friend picks up my GF; takes her to Juut salon/spa for a 30 min. massage. At the end of the massage, she'll get her hair washed and makeup put on. She'll also receive a letter from me. Each letter is on handmade paper with embedded iris petals and leaves. There will be 3 letters; each one containing things I love about her as well as stories of God working things to bring us to this point. I've saved these 3 stories from her for this very day. 🙂 The first letter tells her to go to a coffee shop we frequent. She arrives there, receives an iced chai along with letter #2. Another friend of mine will be in the corner taking pics. Letter #2 instructs her to go to a lake we love to walk around. She arrives there; a friend is there in a suit and tie with a nicely wrapped gift. Inside gift is letter #3 and one of her dresses. Best friend takes her back to her house so she can change and get ready. Letter #3 instructs her to go to this awesome trail through the woods/creek. She arrives there; best friend escorts her part way down the trail. After a small walk, there is a path leading into the woods. She takes the path; tea candles will be lining the path as well as rose petals covering the ground. The path suddenly opens up into an open area under a tree canopy. I'll be there. A friend will be hiding in the woods taking pics and videoing the whole thing! 😀 I'll tell her that I love her; I'll be saying this to her for the first time. Those are words I have reserved for my wife and I FINALLY get to tell her that I love her after all these years! After I propose, we're going out for a romantic dinner at a sweet restaurant. I AM STOKED!!!

UPDATE: Thanks for all the well wishes everyone! At ~7:30pm on Saturday, I asked the love of my life to marry me and she said, "I WILL!!" 😀 😀 I'm SO stinkin excited!! If you all knew her, you would be too...she's AMAZING - the most incredible woman I will ever know! Everything went perfectly except for one small thing...my friend who was supposed to be at the coffee shop to deliver letter #2, arrived just behind her! He literally walked in the door right behind her. He called me freaking out, asking me what he should do. I told him it was no big deal, and that he should just hand her the letter, get her the iced chai, then leave. She didn't even know anything was wrong so it worked perfectly! 🙂 Other than that, the evening was absolutely incredible! She loved every minute of it and so did I. The greatest moment, was telling her that I loved her. I am SO thankful that I had reserved those words exclusively for my future wife. I think I've told her I love her ~100 times in the past two days. 🙂 You'll all have to wait until tomorrow for the pics...they're still sitting on her camera.
