Yeah, it feels great to have this freedom 🙂 I haven't had a weekend to my self in a long time.. it will be nice to relax and work on some projects around my apt.

Yep! Breathe it in my boy! It's going to be good 😉

Oh, and if the whole thing is still in your head, spend more time with friends/family and keep your mind occupied. That's what I did, and it all worked out fine. Only thing is before I sleep, my mind is always thinking about my ex, that's why I read my Archie Comics 😀

BTW, we broke up a week ago

We have been going out for over 10 months now. She was always being impatient with me and making me feel bad. We had been fighting almost every week for the past few months. Lately, I haven't been sleeping well, because it really hurts to get into arguments and fights with someone you really care about. So, tonight.. i broke up with her. The fights were hurting me too much.

If what you say is accurate then, I'M DAMN PROUD OF YOU!!! Move on. The pain will lessen as time passes and you move on. Don't go back to her, if she comes back to you, treat her like dirt. It'll make her feel like she has to work to gain your love back and that makes a girl more appreciative.

He's beautiful in every way, spiderx. Words can't bring him down, no, not today.

Just don't post pictures of your belly rolls on the Net and blame it on birth control pills..

You are better without her, just chill out with your friends and when you are ready to start looking again find someone better.

i had one of these before...love was REALLY good, fights were REALLY bad.
...so bad that we literally got into physical fights...weird thing is she never thought too much about it
but i couldn't take it much more...so broke up.

One of most painful thing i ever went through,
BEST thing i ever did.

I completely understand how you feel. My now ex would think that fights are normal, but this was one fight too many. There are girls out there that are non-confrontational. I mean, if you're going out w/ a girl that long, she should have been working like a team and understanding of each other. Not, trying to start fights all the time.

Update: She called me last Sunday and told me to pick up my things from her house... the conversation went alright, and towards the end of the conversation, she told me that she missed me. So, I drove over there and we had a nice lunch together. We decided that we would see eachother only a couple times a week and try to build back the relationship.

So, on Sunday I asked her to drive to go to the bookstore and she got all angry with me. She said that she got mad at me for not trying to work on the relationship. I had been driving my car all day, so I was kinda tired and I just asked if we could take her car. She was mad b/c she wanted me to treat her "special" and drive her in my car. We almost broke up again.

She gets SOOOO emotional. I don't know what to do... we've been talking almost every day on the phone, but it seems like we still get into a fight about something almost every day. I'm so tired of this... its really emotionally draining. I don't know what to do. Should I try breaking up with her again?

Today, we just got into a little fight on the phone. I called her to ask about her day and she was telling me about how bad her day is and then she was getting frustrated with me. I couldn't think of anytihng else to talk about, so I just wanted to ask about her day and she gets all mad and frustrated with me about being concerned for her! What should I do... please give me some advice. THX

geckojohn, it sounds to me like there's a lot more downside than upside to your relationship with her. If you break it off, don't allow yourself to get talked into seeing her a couple of times a week, or to "be friends", or anything of the sort, as she will use every emotional manipulative technique in her book to tie you into agonizing emotional knots. If you break it off, break it off and keep it that way. You'll be happier in the long run, especially when you meet that nice girl in the future who also happens to be mature and stable.

You didn't treat her like DIRT! You were too nice to her and she's acting up again. I'm telling you, treat her like DIRT! If you act like you don't care, she'll be nicer to get you to care. BOOTIE CALL only, don't let her be anything more. If she wants to completely break it off with you, it'll be for the better, but I doubt that will happen. She'll keep wanting you and the more you push her away, the more she'll want you. The nicer you are, the worst she'll get.

But she always tells me to treat her nicer, even though i'm already treating her pretty nice. So, you think treating her mean might get her to change her mindset and accept me better?

Well, duh, you treated her nice and where did you end up? Now its only obvious that if you treated her the opposite, you'd get the opposite result isn't it? Besides, how can it be worst than how you are now?

Do you think she's the one you want to settle down with and marry? Because she's probably not worth the hassel if you're gonna try to back out of the relationship later on anyhow... If you think she's the one, stick it out....

Have you asked her what is really the problem? Somethings people fight about little stuff because they are upset about something big.

I was in a similar situation with the woman I dated in college. In the last year of our relationship, she was always upset about something. I would get fed up with it and break up with her. For some reason she would work hard to get back together with me. I remember after we broke up for the last time, I came home and noticed something was missing. There wasn't a pissed off person waiting to tell me know how she felt about me.

She married some other guy. Whenever I look back on that time, I think I should send the man she married $5000. He saved me from spending seven years in the most miserable ring of hell while I was married to her. And after the divorce, I would have suffered another 22 years in a little less gruesome ring of hell while the kids grew up and finished college.

dang, no wonder, she's an asian... a lot of asian chicks think their poop doesn't stink... (ok, then there are those that's very shy and no confrontational...it's like both end of the extremes)

just dump her and find youself a nice white whimmin.
