Silly question but i've been talking to this girl for a while and we went out for drinks the other night.. Cute girl, smart, a good talker and such... But I'm not sure if we're on friend territory or what... Any easy way to clear that up that won't result in me getting slapped? I emailed her at 3 in the morning about getting some drinks or catching a movie on friday... If she says "yes" what should my attack plan be???

its not about the action, its about the moment. best thing you can do is put yourself in a situation that lends itself to "closeness". i think watching a movie at home may be the best idea. you just gotta check the little things. like, how close she sits to you and her body language. it really should come naturally, if not, then you are A) trying too hard B) on the friends ladder

Uh, if you mean kissing then when the opportunity is there just go for it, if not she'll back her head away and the message will be clear. It'll be akward and then you'll have to find another girl (or wait till the second/third date) but odds are she won't slap 'ya for that. 
If the kissing is going well (you'll know), you can sorta hold/move her hand towards your package and if it doesn't withdraw, well, things are looking good for 'ya. Cuz if she keeps the interest there you have options available to 'ya now to explore. If not, well, just keep up the kissing and try again another time--maybe after you've dated a while.

I'm just trying to point out there are better places for this sort of thread if you really want serious answers cause you're not gonna get them from most people on here (due to the fact that a majority of the people on here don't have any dating skills either judging by all of the YAGT's), you're just asking for trouble posting stuff like this.

Thanks for the constructive thoughts - I'm just a bit nervous since this is my first time getting close to a girl after a nearly 7 year long relationship.. No, she's not the rebound chick.. So, I haven't made a move on someone in 7 years so.. Yeah, I forgot how! I guess i'll just wait for the right moment..Is sliding my hand closer to hers more approriate than going for a kiss?
Yeah, I think you have some idea of what you should do. Start with some simple, harmless touching. Touch her arm when you talk to her, tap her leg, etc. etc. If she doesn't freak out, good. If she touches you, you're in. The most important thing is to make her feel comfortable and to be smooth about it.

To the OP, dude just do what feels right! If you're all worried about it, she'll be as well, and nothing will happen. At least that's how I've always made my moves (and had moves made on my as well). Just don't wait too long to find out, because if you do it's the Friend Zone for you!
