hrm... i just realized it's thursday.. call her tomorrow.. like after lunch time.. so 2-3pm.. then either ask her out tomorrow night, or saturday.. i'll be waiting updates on monday

by the way, your'e a good looking guy.. that probably doesn't mean much comming from a guy, but just go with the attitude that this girl approached you... she saw you and thought "hey, that guy looks cute, let me go talk to him"....

yup, girls care more about $$ and looks, but its the personality that keeps her though, so it'll be easier for a rich good looking guy to get dates, but easier for guys with good personalities to maintain a long relationship.


it is really really weird to see so much support in a thread like this in ATOT, maybe because the OP was written clearly?

If she's crazy as we think she is, she's going to be wild in the sack. Anyway I wouldn't exactly call her too often because you'll just look desperate and pathetic. Give it some time and I'm sure she'll return your phone call.

My thinking is that she is so fed up with guys hitting on her and trying to use smooth lines that when this self proclaimed dork didn't even bother to look at her she found it refreshing.

My other thought is that she is an attention whore and since this self proclaimed dork didn't pay much attention to her, she had to go talk to him and get some attention from him b/c she couldn't stand the thought of some dork not salivating over her. He may never hear from her again.

Well, true, but that only applies to superficial women; and who the heck wants to be with a superficial woman? I know plenty of HAWT women who could care less about $$ AND looks (to a point). They just want a guy who takes care of him self and is on the track for success; not some lazy bum who works @ McD's @ the age of 25.

Humblepie at my christmas party 6 months ago with a date that didn't work out

The girl in the picture for the xmas party I went to for my office didn't work out. She was never really interested in me and is a girl who's father I've known for years since he's worked with my dad for over 20. He recently remarried and his new wife had a very pretty 21 year old daughter that I thought was single. She wasn't. Still.. at least I went to a rock concert (that I over payed for) and an xmas party with her (which I didn't pay a dime for at least). Still, that was 2 out of 5 dates I've had in about 5 years. LOL.

I'm glad you posted pics. I was imagining you to look a lot more like a true-and-blue geek than you do. Seriously, you're fine man. Go into anything with the attitude that you had last night (that it was just one time and you weren't ever gonna see her again) and be that laid back and it'll be easier.

I figured you'd (OP) be like, tall and gangly, with big glasses and a skinny neck. (well, that's my initial thought when I hear "GEEK.") But you're not, so you really just need to bolster up your confidence and you should do fine. :beer:
