The short version of this story is that I met this girl through an odd twist of fate - she went to my school but we never met each other on campus but met in the neighborhood 10 months ago and bonded. So I've known her for about a year and have always liked her - she's cute, smart, funny, and fun to be around... But a while ago I made a move on her and was totally rejected - I took the immature way out and stopped seeing her, until she called me a few weeks ago.

Now we're spending time together and I'm digging her more than ever. There are times that seem perfect for making a move but I fear getting rejected again. I feel that I should build up to HER wanting me before making that move again, but I don't know how to do that. I'm not sure if I'm asking for advice or just venting, but we ended up watching Robot Chicken in my room, passing out on my bed and cuddling - which felt awesome and I *knew* that I should have kissed her, but didn't want to ruin things by rushing anything... I usually don't try again after getting rejected so, well, I'm a bit lost...
 
Your overthinking it.

Do what feels right and not what you should do, dont end up waiting too long and then losing her. You'll always wonder what could have been.
 
think, plot and plan your moves with your head, yes i mean the smaller one and not the big one with ego.
 
You sound like you're setting yourself up nicely for another fall. And what's with all the "move" making...why not just communicate with the girl.

Although, the fact that she's watching RC with you...points.

1) Go for the hand. Always go for the hand. Holding hands is so commonly overlooked and girls dig it. If they hold your hand...go for the arm around a little later...oh yeah and always squint your eyes a little bit...for some reason that makes you look more serious and more into her than happy wide-open goofy eyes.

OR

2) Invite some friends over and play truth or dare and plan ahead and have your friend pick you so you'd pick dare and have him dare you to kiss her and then take her behind the toolshed and screw her.

Either way works.

I suggest the first one...it's worked with well over 50 girls in the last few years with me.

BTW, don't take the once a friend always a friend crap, it really isn't true unless you're really "just friends".

To make it easy for you, if she's cuddling, and at the time kissing her seemed like a good idea, odds are she's interested...if not she's most likely a slut.

P.S. Some people post thread after thread ranting about how AMD processors are better than Intel.Some people post hundreds of threads about domestic vs. japanese cars... Some people post hundreds of hot deal threads (kudos to you!)... i happend to not care much about all of that, but girls.. I dig girls.. sue me 😉
 
Oh and by the way...you've sub-consciously made some great moves. By not calling her after you got rejected, you made it seem like you really didn't care...which drives girls nuts. You also didn't kiss her when you were cuddling which means she's going to try even harder to get you.

We ended up holding hands while napping, which i took as a good sign but I didn't go further because I didn't want to push my luck.

I just got this cute text message from her (I asked her to text me so that I know that she's home safe):

Now, yeah, all good signs but I don't want to move too quickly based on that nasty rejection (I had her over for a home made dinner and, late at night, she bluntly told me she's not interested so I ended up spending a night on my couch - it was one of my worst rejections ever).

I think you guys convinced me to say f'it and just make a move. i'm not scared, I just don't want to blow a chance by doing something rash.. wait, I think that's the definition of scared.. maybe I am a little scared.

If she does reject you again it's not your fault she's leading you on.
 
Stop thinking in terms of "making moves." Just act cool. Send her a reply that basically says, "Ya I know I am, and aren't you lucky for me sharing some with you?" Keep hanging out with her, get close (as you seem to have no problem doing) and just keep at it. And for fvcks sake, if you're less than 2 feet from her face and she starts making puppy eyes at you... kiss her.
