I've been going out with a girl for 3 months, and she's just not the girl for me, so I called it off. She hardly even let me hold her hand. Ever since then she's been asking me, "Why?" My birthday was today and she sent me gifts. I hardly even talk to her anymore, but she still went through the trouble of sending me stuff. She's nice and all, but I just don't think she's right for me.

I told her a lot that we didn't "click," but I guess she doesn't get it.

How come girls can get so attached? It's been about two months since I broke up with her.

Also: Don't go out of your way to make her happy. If she stays attached, that's her issue. Go on living your life. If you don't have feelings for her, then forget about her. Don't make changes in your life to make her happy just because you feel bad for her. Number one priority in life: keep yourself happy by doing what you want to do.

Good point, she may misinterpret his willingness to break the law for her as a sign of devotion. Sounds like this girl just might do that.

No, it is considered jewlrey. Get her a a fruit basket, gift certificate, I'm not sure about chocolate. Just get her something that gets used up or expires.

on how to get rid of her: You said she doesn't let you hold her hand? Just try to hit it every time you see her. That should take care of things.
