so I broke up with me girl last night. We were goin thru some hard times and i thought that we both needed a little time (a month) break from each other. I asked her not to come visit me next month. She said to her, a break would be the end. I gotta call her tonight to explain all the detail as she was intoxicated throughout the course of the convo and all see remebers is that we broke up

It doesnt feel any different right now. I dont think it has set in yet

-edit- saying "break" in her mind is "break up" as well it should be.
 
If my boyfriend told me he wanted to take a month-long break from me, I'd dump him too.

actually, it was the other way around. she said if i wanted a break, that would be the end of things and i said thats what i want (a break, not necessarily a break up). so that was that

That's not what you said in your original post. Regardless, a month-long 'rest from each other' equals a breakup. Mourn and then move on.

there certainly are a lot of break ups on OT lately.

except for that one guy.. who got together with the wife of the guy his girl was cheating with.

hard time on OT.
 
Judging by your post, I would be willing to bet that the true reason for the breakup is your lack of communication skills.
