YAGT: commitment

Hey, just a tidbit of my life I thought I'd throw out in the open.

Right now, I'm 19 going on 20, sophmore in college, and am pretty happy with where my life is headed. I've had a few girlfreinds in my past, but at this point in my life I am extremely happy being single. I find that its easy enough to get laid on a regular basis, without having a steady girlfriend ( and without resorting to prostitutes/sonz70, you a-holes 😀 ), and can also enjoy not having to deal with the downsides of a commitment (cheating, nagging, etc.) That said, sometimes I feel a little guilty about denying perfectly nice/attractive women any sort of comittment, simply because "I dont feel like dealing with it." Maybe I'm just scared of another broken heart??? 😛

Thoughts anyone?

You're smart? A lot smarter than I am as far as these things go.

stop thinking with the bible-infused american moral standard!

a few years back, a friend was taking a semester in spain, and her european friends were surprised that she didn't sleep with guys on their first date.

There's nothing wrong with it as long as you don't lie about wanting to do a long term thing then dissapearing.

my thought is that eventually you will get bored with what you are doing now and will soon find that you want someone to be with for good.

Also, i have found that many guys who are like you are still thinking just about "me", which is fine! wait a little while. I bet you your thoughts and feelings will change. everyone is different. 🙂 enjoy being single now!
