M-16 more specifically, the M16-A2.

1. I can find bullets for it any where in the free world.
2. I can break it down and put it back together under two mins.
3. I can be deadly accurate without scopes. (May be because I'm more familiarized with it)
4. It's really light, fully loaded.
5. I can stash shiets in the butt of the rifle, and defend it.
6. It gets better gas milage.
7. Just wondering if you're still reading.
8. So how's the weather?
9. It looks cooler.
10.It's American made, damn it.

For Civilians it's AR-15 army it's M16 I think I'm sure there is someone here that can explain it better than me. Or tell me if I'm wrong

The M4 barrel is too short - the CAR is way too short. If I were stuck with an M-16 platform, I would knock a few inches off the standard bbl and put the collapsing stock on it.

I think you can sum up this question as follow:

M-16 for most settings. CAR-15 if I knew I was going to be in buildings almost all of the time.

Given the choice of anything on the AR platform, however... AR-10 for general purposes.
