OK douche, calm down. I said that one picture looked kind of emo. With the dark eye makeup and clothes it looks emo.

I did not say she was emo. I know what emo is. I know what punk rock is.

******.

commie talk reminded me of this:

In the car, I'm driving to the airport
my uncle: "Don't be a communist."
me: "what?"
uncle: "You know, quit rushin'."

Made me laugh.

woaw, calm down... i was just saying that she's not emo... and people throw around the term "emo" so often it's annoying.. this girl's into punk rock, goth punk, and dresses accordingly.. she's not emo and, well, i was just stating that.

i find it best to always operate on the assumption that every girl you encounter really wants you.

haha.. what drug could I use to be totally irrational?

unshakeable confidence is the drug i refer to.

Not really a YAGT thread but a question about social ettiquette, I guess. So there's this girl I met at an audition who found me on myspace (yeah, shut up) who I've only really seen in the really real world 3 times, in professional situations. Not a close friend by any stretch of the word, but we've kept casual conversations going and, yes, I find her very attractive and have a bit of a crush on her.

Then, after being bored and feeling like a wuss, I decided to email her, saying that we should hang out to just catch up and such. She replies saying that we should do brunch...

Now, I don't usually get nervous but I'm feeling anxious. No, I don't think this girl has any feelings for me - she's way out of my league and she doesn't really know me. I just don't want to make an ass out of myself. Any suggestions? Should I just flake out since I'm so nervous?

Every female you've ever posted about on this forum has been out of your league but you always seem to come through... What's the problem now?

I don't always come through - i have the keen ability to cut my losses and move on quickly. And I also know when a girl is girlfriend material vs. have some fun with and move on material. That sounds mean but, yeah, when I feel like a girl is within my grasps then I could be calm, cool, and even charming (with enough alcohol added to the mix).. A girl like this girl makes me feel like i'm in elementary school again - all shaky in the knees and sweating grossly and such.

she's hot.

Pics 2 and 3 are the best. Most natural representations.

Yeah, I know she's a very attractive girl... but what the hell do I talk about??? it's rough because i barely know her - i'd prefer going out with a group of friends and doing something fun since there's less pressure on me. But 1 on 1 brunch? i'm terrified!

here are somet things most women could talk about for hours:

shopping and clothes
home and family
career/ambitions/goals
travel
health/fitness

those topics are so big you can stay busy for hours and hours and hours

based on your myspace profile, perhaps she thinks you're gay and wants a friend
