Short term? No problem. Long term? You change a lot (physically and mentally) from 14-20 so you will most likely have problems later.

I vote for have fun now, and dont really think too hard about the future (relationship wise). Also, you going to college will be a big issue you would have to deal with. If you are emotionally shallow, 'hit it and quit it'. If you are mature, then you can develop a deep and meaningful relationship, get some nookie, and then go to college :)

You're both in high school, it's fine. Don't worry about it.

Once you graduate, then people will make fun of you (if you're still seeing her) for dating a high school girl, though. :p

i'm 21 and my gf was in the last few weeks of 17 when we started dating. She's 18 now and i'm still 21. I can honestly say that dating younger girls SUCKS!!

I don't think it's too much of a problem, as long as it doesn't get too physical. And btw, don't expect to marry her or anything...just have fun.

Like, oh my gosh, you are so popular! Did you hear what Susie said happened to Becky's sister at the mall on Tuesday with Lisa's dad's girlfriend's son, it was like, all over, everyone knew.

Anyways, do a headstand in a swimsuit.

I think laws, and perhaps customs, are vastly different in the UK where the OP is from....

Here is 'the rule' around here:

1. If your in High School, anyone else in high school is ok. Likewise for college.
2. If you are in college, anyone in high school is OFF LIMITS, even if they are older then you, unless they were your gf/bf before you started college.

In general though, we really don't have enough information. I've met some 15-16 year olds that I could swear were college freshman or sophomores, and I've met some 22-23 year olds that I would swear were still in HS. Maturity (both physically an emotionally) matters a lot here, some people just grow up faster or slower then others.
